ZIM discovers that Dib is conducting outer atmosphere tests using TAK’s spaceship. Dib pushes his ship all the way to the outer reaches of Earth’s solar system, beyond Pluto, and beyond themore recently discovered planet Wally. When ZIM catches up to Dib, he is about to destroy him, until they both notice an adorable little chubby man somehow floating in space near Wally. The two stop fighting and both fly towards the little man, curious, but they soon realize the figure is actually thousandsof miles away and the size of a planet. The orb-shaped, smiley creature approaches Wally and hugs the planet, which buckles like a watermelon. Having hugged Wally, the happy creature then moves on towards Earth! A ragged Space Armada chases the giant. ZIM and Dib dock with the armada and are told that the giant is SQUISHY, the last of an indestructible race of really friendly creatures who hug planets into destruction. Squishy has destroyed all of their planets and now they plot revenge by destroying any planet SQUISHY tries to hug before SQUISHY can hug it, just to show him. ZIM doesn’t want Earth destroyed by anyone but HIM, and Dib just doesn’t want his planet destroyed. The two get very competitive in who will save the Earth. Since Squishy is indestructible, the only choice is to persuade him into changing course. ZIM and Dib fly into each of Squishy’s enormous ears, both intent on being the one who will convince Squishy into not destroying Earth. Squishy gets overwhelmingly irritated and confused by all these thoughts in his head. He pounds himself on the head, then grabs a ship from the armada and uses it as a Q-tip, squooshing Dib. ZIM, now the only voice in Squishy’s head, manages to sweet talk him into going to hug something else. When Dib finally escapes from the rubble in Squishy’s ears, he is furious that the Earth has been saved by ZIM!

ZIM monitors unusual Solar System activity, unaware that what he is tracking is Dib conducting his first outside-atmosphere tests in his spaceship. Dib pushes his ship all the way to the outer reaches of Earth’s solar system, beyond Pluto, to the edge of the more recently discovered planet, Wally. Dib is shocked to spot an adorable little chubby man, somehow still alive, floating in space near Wally. Dib zooms in to help, but realizes the figure is actually thousands of miles away, and actually the size of a planet. The orb-shaped, smiley creature approaches Wally and hugs the planet, which buckles like a watermelon. The creature looks sad until it spots Pluto far off. It is happy again and moves on. It doesn’t take long for Dib to realize it is on a path for Earth! Dib is picked up by a ragged Space Armada chasing the giant. The aliens on board tell Dib the giant is SQUISHY, the last of a race of really friendly celestial giants who hug planets into destruction. Squishy has destroyed all of their planets and now they plot revenge by destroying any planet SQUISHY tries to hug before SQUISHY can destroy it, just to show him. Dib vows to stop Squishy by whatever means necessary, but runs into ZIM, also desperate to not have his prize planet destroyed. ZIM and Dib get competitive over whoÕs going to save the earth and both have several botched attempts to stop SQUISHY. Dib gives up and returns to Earth to try to warn mankind but no one believes him. Realizing SQUISHY is indestructible, but still hurt by intense amounts of unkindness, ZIMÕs last ditch effort involves harnessing the power of Dib’s natural ability to repel all who are near him. ZIM amplifies this Dib-effect and projects it over the entire planet, making all Earth’s creatures see images of Dib wherever they go. Dib on TV, Dib’s face in clouds and on toast. The overwhelming hatred envelops the Earth, creating a tazer-like effect on SQUISHY when he tries to hug the planet. SQUISHY flies away, sad. The fleet wanders off, confused, looking for something else to destroy.
